1、 Product Overview


A finned cartridge heaters is a heating element designed specifically for efficient heat transfer. By adding heat dissipation fins to the cartridge heaters, the heat transfer area and thermal efficiency are greatly improved. It is widely used in many fields such as air heating, oven drying, HVAC, and industrial process heating. The product has the characteristics of compact structure, easy installation, and long service life. It can stably output heat under complex working conditions and meet the precise temperature control needs of different scenarios.


2、 Core parameters


(1) Main structural parameters


Heating tube section: Seamless stainless steel tube (304/316L optional) is used as the shell material, with tube diameters covering four conventional specifications: 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 16mm. Special sizes can be customized. The effective heating length range of the heating tube is 100mm to 2000mm, and the non heating end length is fixed at 50mm for easy installation and fixation. Internally filled with high-density magnesium oxide powder to ensure insulation performance and thermal conductivity efficiency. The electric heating wire is made of nickel chromium alloy material, which has strong oxidation resistance and can work in high temperature environments for a long time.


Fin section: The fin material is consistent with the heating tube shell and is made of stainless steel. Aluminum fins can also be customized according to requirements. The fin type is spiral winding, and there are three options for fin height: 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm. The fin spacing is 5mm, 8mm, and 10mm, which can be flexibly adjusted according to heat transfer requirements. The fin coverage length of a single heat pipe is the same as the effective heating length of the heating pipe, maximizing the utilization of the heating area to improve heat transfer efficiency.


(2) Electrical parameters


Voltage and Power: Supports multiple voltage specifications, including 220V single-phase and 380V three-phase, with a power range from 500W to 10000W, and can be customized according to actual heating needs. At rated voltage, the thermal efficiency of the product can reach over 90%, which can quickly convert electrical energy into thermal energy and transfer it to the medium.


Insulation performance: The cold insulation resistance of the product is ≥ 500M Ω (500VDC), and the hot insulation resistance is ≥ 1M Ω (at operating temperature). The insulation withstand voltage can withstand 1500VAC/1 minute without breakdown or flashover, ensuring electrical safety during use.


Grounding resistance: The resistance between the grounding terminal and the heating tube casing is ≤ 0.1 Ω, effectively preventing the risk of leakage and ensuring the safety of operators.


(3) Performance parameters


Working temperature: The maximum working temperature on the surface of the product can reach 600 ℃, and the environmental adaptation temperature range is -40 ℃ to 450 ℃. It can operate stably in extreme environments such as high and low temperatures.


Temperature control accuracy: When used in conjunction with external temperature control equipment, the temperature control accuracy can reach ± 1 ℃, meeting the needs of high-precision heating scenarios.


Service life: Under normal use and maintenance conditions, the product is designed to have a service life of ≥ 10000 hours and has good durability and reliability.


3、 Applicable environment


Medium environment: Suitable for heating clean media such as dry air and inert gases. If used in environments containing corrosive, flammable, and explosive media, special anti-corrosion and explosion-proof treatment product models need to be customized.


Installation environment: It can be installed in spaces such as ovens, air ducts, heating chambers, etc. The installation methods include flange fixation, threaded connection, bracket support, etc. It is necessary to ensure good ventilation in the installation position to avoid fins being blocked by debris and affecting heat transfer efficiency.


Environmental conditions: Suitable for environments with an altitude of ≤ 2000m and a relative humidity of ≤ 90% (no condensation). Avoid direct use in harsh environments such as strong acids, alkalis, and high dust. If necessary, take protective measures.


4、 Installation and usage precautions


Pre installation inspection: Before installation, it is necessary to confirm that the product appearance is not deformed, the fins are not damaged, and the wiring terminals are not loose. Check whether the product parameters match the voltage and power requirements of the usage scenario.


Installation requirements: During installation, it is necessary to ensure sufficient heat dissipation space around the heating tube and fins, and avoid direct contact with flammable and explosive materials. The flange or threaded connection should be well sealed to prevent medium leakage. The grounding terminal must be reliably grounded to ensure electrical safety.


Usage: Before starting up, it is necessary to confirm that the medium circulation or ventilation system is running normally to avoid dry burning and product damage. The heating process should be gradual to avoid sudden high-power shocks. Regularly monitor temperature and electrical parameters during use, and promptly shut down for inspection if any abnormalities are found.


Maintenance: Regularly clean the dust and debris on the surface of the fins to keep them clean and ensure heat exchange efficiency. When not in use for a long time, the product should be placed in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid moisture and rust.
